Christmas is by far my favorite holiday, especially when it comes to decorating! Since this is our first Christmas in our new apartment, I was even more excited to deck the halls this year. We even were able to finally get a full-sized tree, which I trimmed with rose gold glass ornaments from West Elm and a few specialty ornaments from Anthropologie. It's the little ship ornament the cutest!? I just couldn't resist. I also used the felt garland from our wedding decor and dried gypsophila from my local Anthro's Terrain section. I think it turned out alright for our first real tree!
Since our new home is more centrally located, we hosted our first ever get-together last weekend for our friends and family. Despite the nasty Indiana weather, we had a great turn out and were excited to be able to share our home. Plus it gave me an excuse to make the cutest snowflake gingerbread cookies with cut-outs I got from Williams Sonoma. Though I didn't get any pictures from the party, you'll just have to believe me when I saw we had the raddest gourmet cheese and meat platter ever created. If we make it a tradition, then maybe next year I'll have proof.. ;)
