I am very excited that fall is almost upon us once again. Not just because I'm over feeling sweaty and sticky all of the time, but also the FASHION! Jeans, sweaters, scarves, and jackets, yes please. The last couple days here have felt more like fall than any with cooler temps in the evening, so I've been able to bust out my black "leather" jacket that I picked up in Nashville during our last visit back in April. And speaking of Nashville, how cool is this flag!? I was lucky enough to score this guy online from Sisters of Nature, one of my favorite shops in East Nashville, who had it custom made for them by The Wild Standard. It is definitely one of my favorite pieces in our living room and looks killer on our black wall which I've appropriately nicknamed "the photo wall".
I also love fall's earthy and warm aesthetic, which is completely up my alley and much like my new statement timepiece made by my friends at JORD Wood Watches. The matte black face paired with the Koa wood on this Frankie style is such a dreamy combination that also looks tough as nails while still being effortlessly classy. It definitely is going to be a stable accessory with every outfit this fall! That, and my rad thrift find sitting on top of my head. Yes, I scored this bad boy at Midland Arts & Antiques in Indianapolis for... wait for it... $17! The original band around it was falling apart, so Mikey and I fashioned a new one out of leather goodies we picked up from the craft store. Maybe someday I'll have one custom made by a leather artist... We'll see!
